But there is hope! With a re-introduction to "Guys Being Guys", private groups are becoming a popular way for guys to be guys without worry of offending anyone (as if the real guy ever worried about that anyway), because it ensures that the guys that are hanging out together are like-minded. In lamens terms, these groups are a place for adult masculine males to hang out and be themselves. THE SOUTHERN JOC is a group that has roots in the mid-south region of the United States - Arkansas, Missouri, Tennessee, Mississippi, and neighboring states. THE SOUTHERN JOC is an organization dedicated to the promotion of masculinity among guys who are real guys, and those of us who have not fallen to the toxic effects of modern society, trying to reduce the once alpha-male to a pile of useless rubble.
History has proven that when males hang out with other males, a special bond and trust develop. Get a group of guys hanging out together and the atmosphere generally takes on a feeling of relaxed and fun, whether all of the individuals know each other well or not. Guys don't have the jealousy and analytical habits of those of the opposite sex, and in today's world, this can include those who "think" they are of the opposite sex.
We are trying to remedy that with a location to help bring guys together who like to hang out and have fun, but do it in a way that those who want to hang out are part of a brotherhood, and not just some random person who decided to show up or crash a chat group. THE SOUTHERN JOC requires registration, but your private information remains private and is not shared with any other member, unless you choose to share that information. This way, all members can know they are in the company of others who have provided the information necessary to allow them into the group.
THE SOUTHERN JOC is an all male, age 18+, group. No one under the age of 18 is allowed to become a member or to attend any kind of group event.
